HEALTHCARE HACKERS
Gaming the Healthcare System
In order that this website to be properly understood, we need to start with a few definitions, as the idea of Hacking or Gaming something can easily take on negative connotations. Since nothing in what I suggest here is either immoral, unethical or illegal, you might ask yourself why we are using such terms. Let us begin by defining these terms.
HACKER: a person who uses computers to gain unauthorized access to data: informal, an enthusiastic and skillful computer programmer or user.
ETHICAL: morally correct, right-minded, right-thinking, principled, irreproachable, unimpeachable, blameless, guiltless; righteous, upright, upstanding, high-minded, virtuous, good, moral; exemplary, clean, law-abiding, lawful; just, honest, honorable, unbribable, incorruptible; scrupulous, reputable.
ETHICAL HACKER: a person who uses HACKING concepts and techniques in an ethical and moral way.
GAMING: manipulate (a situation), typically in a way that is unfair or unscrupulous: it was very easy for a few big companies to game the system | politicians blamed electricity generators for gaming the market.
ETHICAL GAMING: Manipulating within a system’s inconsistencies and flaws in such a way as to achieve an ethical but winning outcome that is the greatest good.
A good example of ethical hacking or ethically gaming a system is how the wealthy reduce their taxable income. A tax expert is hired who is versed in various legal tax loopholes to deploy a strategy(ies) which has the outcome of less taxes owed.
There are fewer loopholes for lower income folks and the strategies often cost more to deploy then the benefit. Therefore if one is not wealthy, it’s hard to game anything in the system.
So what is this website about?
Simply put, our goal is to show you how to get the best Medical Care services as well as the best Health Care options for the least amount of money and effort.
Is there a difference between Medical Care and Health Care? Yes!
Medical Care is what physicians, nurses and clinicians do every day in Doctor’s offices, labs, surgery centers, and hospitals. Whether drawing blood, checking pressure or prescribing meds, X-rays. MRI’s, and so on. That is medical care. It doesn’t happen anywhere more frequently than in America, and we are the best. However, medical care probably constitutes only 10% – 20% of health outcomes.
Health Care is a much broader idea of which Medical Care is only a subset and constitutes the remaining 80-90% of health outcomes. It incorporates other considerations such as genetics, nutrition/diet, drinking, smoking, exercise, supplements, and so on.
Expert’s opinions vary on the percentage of Medical Care which is non-emergency. Our research seems to indicate about 65% of all Medical Care is considered non-emergency although half of all the money spent on health care is to the emergency rooms. Why? Because the uninsured frequently use emergency rooms for their primary care.
Let us introduce HACK #1.
VIRTUAL: Carried out, assessed or stored by means of a computer, especially over a network.
TELE: combining form meaning “distant,” especially “transmission over a distance.
So when applying either word, Virtual or Tele, to Medicine, if you surmised it means a Doctor’s visit over a smartphone or computer, you would be correct!
What are the benefits of Virtual Medicine? There are many, allow us to elaborate on a few here:
●You do not have to drive to your Doctor’s office, as it can be accomplished in the comfort of your home. Think about it, you’re not feeling well, do you really feel like driving? What if you’re alone?
● You don’t have to arrive for your appointment only to end up waiting an extra hour or more to see the Doctor. How many times has this happened to you? For me, every single time! we cannot recall a single instance of the Doctor greeting me as we walk in the door right on schedule. We have always had to wait, wait, wait. We bet the same is also true for you. Not only do we wait, but there is a waiting room full of others who also are not feeling well. Maybe someone is coughing or sneezing. What if you came for your annual blood draw or just to get a refill on your prescription approved? Why risk catching the flu or worse from someone in the Doctor’s office.?
● It is much less expensive. Yes, the cost of a single office visit with your Doctor could be as much as the annual cost for a Virtual Medicine Plan. A single person could pay as little as $25 a month for unlimited consultations with their Doctor. Our research shows without health insurance, the average doctor charges between $300–$600. However, this number will vary depending on the services and treatment needed, as well as the type of doctor’s office.
● Because it’s virtual, punctual and inexpensive, most people are more apt to see their Doctor more often, which is a good thing.
● Quality Virtual Medicine programs come with huge discounts on common medications. One of our programs in particular can offer ZERO co-pay on up to 200 meds!

Let’s get on with this concept. This little insurance policy is going to provide you with MONEY! Yes, Money! So, if something happens, like an accident, and you can’t work, you’re going to need MONEY. Now, imagine you immediately started receiving thousands of dollars a month until you got better. For example, if you are an independent-contractor and don’t have sick pay, this MONEY will pay your rent, or your car payment. You get the idea. You know what else it could pay for? A Health Care Plan! Yes you could use these tax free funds to pay for a Health Care Plan under the Affordable Heath Care Act (ACA) despite existing conditions. So now if you need regular physical therapy, special equipment, even exotic meds, or even surgery, whatever you need to use the funds for! Depending on the seriousness of the illness or injury you could qualify for a lump sum payment that could be in the tens of thousands of dollars or more. It covers things like critical injuries or illness as well as chronic illness and even terminal illness. These will require definitions as well so you fully understand and we will provide them a little later. What is crazy good about this is how much it costs. Can you believe something like this could cost as little as $100 a month? Then imagine if we told you that if you never used these benefits it can be used as life insurance for your family or even tax free income at retirement?
We know it sounds too good to be true but it is. The funny thing is this insurance policy was invented in 1934 by a company you probably never heard of, has $34 Billion in assets, and is still providing this program today!
So between Hack #1 and Hack #2 you are spending $125 a month of your hard earned money, that’s $1500 a year! Do you feel any better knowing you have 7 days a week unlimited access to your Doctor, zero co-pay on 200 Meds, and a backup plan if you catch COVID or get injured? Prescription medications are often a large expense. Let’s examine the cost of Blood pressure medicine just as an example. There are several different brands of these drugs on the market, but among the better known are Procardia XL, Norvasc, Cardizem CD, and Adalat CC. The annual cost of high blood pressure treatment with these drugs, which are taken daily, ranges from $740 to $990 a year. Let’s take the low end on the costs of Doctor visits including time off work, transportation, and call it $300. Doing some simple math, as few as two Doctor’s visits and an annual prescription to hypertension meds could easily set you back $1500. What if you were a family of four? What if the illness, or worse yet and injury, was more serious?

While generally the funds you are contributing are not tax deductible, the benefits are tax free! No matter how big the payout you will pay no taxes! In fact, it could be cheaper for you to purchase this simple insurance plan than to set aside funds in a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Flexible Savings Account (FSA). Both require you to be employed and the HSA requires that you sign up for an expensive High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Leveraging an FSA could be a good way to cover some of the out of pocket costs of routine health care and child care expenses and get a tax break. This is something your Health Care Hacker can help you with. Make sure you schedule a call to learn more.
